Acts|1:23-26 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
>These men were to be waiting in Jerusalem for the Power from above. The Holy Comforter had not yet come. They may have had good intentions , but the Holy Spirit was not guiding them. Later, of course, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and the Lord chose Saul of Tarsus for the new Apostle.
