For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to preach the good news to the poor;
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to proclaim deliverance for the prisoners and
recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." ( anno Domini or A.D.)
