Who's is it? Well, who's are ye?

I've heard discussion and debate over the years about tithing. Of course I wont get into the debate... just a nifty truth...

Leviticus|27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD.

Deuteronomy|14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

>The Debate seems to spark from "It's the Old testament, should I tithe." Tithe means 10%. So it is saying here that 10% was sanctified unto the Lord, it was the Lord's. I thank the Lord that I received Jesus as a child. I am lead in the spirit not the law. I never had peace about this debate at all. In debates like these I think about Darth Vader after he repented. He picked up the evil Emperor bodily while he was still breathing threats and curses. Vader threw the whole active mess right over the brink. There was nothing redeemable about the character of the Emperor. It is Red Herring to argue. Brethren, if you want to find out how much money to contribute to the work of the Lord you wont find it here. Pray and fellowship with Him. My discussion is about ownership of that 90% behind the curtain. What I am saying is that, not just 10% not even just 50 % but 100% of a believer and his possessions are sanctified , holy, unto the Lord. There is no debate here:

1 Corinthians|3:19-23 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men. For allthings are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

God bless all that are in Christ.
Have a good millennium :)
With Love in Christ, your brother Robert.
